Word Whiz Media, a division of Word Whiz Kid LLC, was founded by me, Marnie Kunz, an award-winning journalist and online media maven. I received a B.A. in Creative Writing from Knox College in 2003, and have since worked full-time as a professional writer and editor.
I’ve travelled and written throughout the U.S. and Europe, fueled by my passion for the written word. I was the 2003 recipient of the inaugural Ida M. Tarbell Award for Investigative Journalism for my article on the history of segregation in Illinois.
